I think that the three main things we need to know about the internet are:

1) I think that everybody needs to be aware that whilst using the internet never ever give out you adress, full name, phone number or other important personal infomation. This is an impotant part of using the internet because you don’t know who you are giving your address out to, for all you know it could be a convitcted criminal that finds you address, then you may have some problems.

 2) Also I think that you need to be aware that not everything on the internet is true. Many different people have created the web sites that you find on the interent, and you can’t be 100% that the source upon which they got there infomation from was entierly true. But, if you find a few websites that have the same fact or infomation, use your common sense to figure if it is true or not.

3) Downloading music off the internet is illegal if you use certain programs that you do not pay for the music that you are getting. Do not do this as you can be prosicuted for doing this.

my dream holiday destination would be a warm sunny beach, with nice soft sand and i would like a clean beach. i would swim and i would meet new people and stay at a 5 star resort and i would eat really nice food and have a great time. I like the  sun because i think i relate the warm sunny to happy and bright and fun things. When i  think of cold rainy days i think of misrable feelings  like sad and lonley, because you have to stay inside.
It would have lots of fun and relax on the beach in the sand, and read a magazine, on the soft warm sand.

Can one person change the world??

We have looked at two different types of media showing people and what they ae doing that is changing the world. First the video free hugs, then the song by Sandi Thom ’ I wish i was a punk rocker’ ( with flowers in my hair ).

So can one person change  the world??
I think that one person can change the world.

Some people can change the world because of there power (Queen Prime Minster), others belive that they can change the world, and that combined with the technology that we have today, is enough for one person to change the world. They have many ways to change the world, radio, TV, Internet ext…. If others think that what they are doing to change the world is a good thing, they will pass on the message. It may not be one person alone changing the world but, they are still doing there part and what they have done is a change to the world. 

The Video Clip from You tube is an example, a man, started with a sign FREE HUGS, and walked around the streets holding the sign, this has changed the viewers, the people in the movie and the guy who created it. The veiwers have change, maybe there opinion, maybe how they feel, some of the veiwers have even thought it was such a good idea they tried it themsealves. The people in the movie can also be changed by this experiance, they may feel wanted, or it might just give them a laugh.

WHat does change mean?

I searched on google:

It means to make a differeance.

If you tell somebody something that they didn’t know, that is a change.

Why can’t somebody change the world??

There are also many reasons why somebody cannot change the world:

1. They do not belive in themsealves that they can

2. They don’t have enough power to change the world they arn’t Queen Ext..

3. They are only one person in a world full of millions of people… one person can only do so much.

How did harry and i work together?

Harry and i worked really well together. Harry is somebody i have not worked with before, and i wasn’t sure how it would go, but it was really good. We didn’t argue, and we both had an equal say in what we did. We both listened to what each other had to say, and we disscussed something until we found a good solution. Overall, i think that Harry and i worked really well together, and we got our P.P.S finished on time which reflected that we worked well and didn’t waste time.

What were you expected to do?

For our kahootz world we were expected to show who we were, or, who you thought you were. It had to show that you were and individual, what ways you are different from other people, what makes you, you. What you like and what your hobbies are could also be included.

In this Kahootz assignment what did you do well?

I think that I did my pictures (Hawthorn) on the wall well, because it represents who I am … a hawk’s fanatic. I think that I did all the others things ok too. But that particularly showed me as a person and that is what I think I did well, showing who I am. Also i think that the colours of the room that i used show a side of me that i like to be creative…i like to do things my own way and be differetn from everybody else.

If you had to do this task again what would you do differently?

Because the room kahootz that i had started making went crazy i started again.

Now i probley wouldn’t have done this because i didn’t get it finished, after i started it again.

I would use the room that I changed to in the end because it wasted a lot of time, and I would also probably cover the walls and the floor with pictures,  I would try and use my time more wisely and I would also put pictures of my friends family and my pets as well.

What help do you need help with?
I don’t think I need help but I need more time to finish it off especially because I started again.

what did you like about I’ T this term\?

i am not exactley sure what i have enjoyed most about this term!!!! i have enjoyed learning more about kahootsz but i don’ t want to do it any more next term, i wat to learn about something diferent

what do you want to learn about next term??

i am not exactlye sure but i don’t want to do kahootz again i want to learn something new.

i have started on my kahoots expression & i have made a room in grovey colours to reflet what i like, & put  pictures on the walls of hawthorn to show i am a mad hawks  supporter. i have also thought about what else i need to put on the walls ( Family photos, pets, freinds) I was having trouble with getting the  pictures to acctualy loook like they were sitting on the walls but i sort of worked it out now.

I don’t think that it is A problem using text lingo for mobiles & emails i don’t think that it effects using proper english in our english classes because to me it is automatic to use proper english when writing homework or important things but when it is just  a quick text to ur friends then u don’t want 2 take like 1/2 and hour just to write a quick message or email. It could be a problem for some people but i do not see it as a problem to me because my brain automattically thinks… now this is english so i know that i need to write in proper english.

I am a bAlneced learner but the most is intuitive but that is only a 3 so it is also very balanced .

I am a very balanced learner all over but the dominant style of learning is visual, all other learner styles are 1 which means they are balanced.

1-3 means you are balanced in this style of learning

But I don’t agree with this test because I like to reflect on my learning more than anything

 What i could’nt live without……

The thing i could’nt live without is the T.v

I watch all my favorite  shows, and it can give you good infomation on some documentarites, If it’s cold on the weekend I go inside  and watch some footy.

Also i couldn’t live without a computer because you can use alot of different technology on computer.  If you didn’t have an Mp3 player or Ipod ext. you could listen to your music on the computer, using Windows media player, which also allows you to view other types of media, Videos photos and music using the one program. and you could scan your photos’ onto the computer and then print them out or just keep them on the computer to look at, you can also talk to other people on the internet, using chat sites or IM. You can call people on Skype. Also some computers are portable ( Laptops) , meaning you can take them with you just as you would with a mobile phone. They work on a batterey meaning that you don’t need any source of power, but they only last a certain amount of time, but you can recharge them … like your phone.

I mostly use a computer to look up the latest AFL news, talk to my friends on IM, and listen to music on windows Media player.

I have compleated all the tasks that we were asked to on our cheak list  but i have’nt done my big navigation bar on the first page.

I had trouble with the hyperlinks because they automatically change colour when they are linked so i had to change the colour to one that would go with the whole digital portfolio because some colours i could’nt see on the slides . That was the hardest thing to do.I still have to double cheak that all my links work.
